Test Bed
Robotic ribbon fin and test bed. The fin is mounted on a precision ballbearing, linear slide assembly (see B) which is connected to one side of a tension and compression load cell (inset). The other side of the load cell is fixed to mechanical ‘ground’ (A). The microcontroller board (C) provides power and position signals for the motors while the splash guard (D) protects the motors from water damage.
